And then they give us true fantasy game cards today. A bunch of wannabes in packs for you to buy. This set had nothing to do with baseball at it's finest. It was strictly an I wish my favorite prospects that sucked had better cards set.

The partridge is actually really good in low-cap tournaments... The pear tree is overrated.

I'd give this one a thumbs up or LOL if those options were available. That being said, I agree with the OP that the set was not very exciting. Dish did a nice job of selling it on the stream, but it's really just a busted prospects set, kind of like Future Legends Past.

It's supposed to be a surprise, not a game-changer for advanced players. For players in the lower levels, you can't tell me that the diamond doesn't play and for the rest of us--it's another 5000+ points.

Nobody asked for a game changer. Something usable at some level would be nice. My second team has nothing but PT+ funding and has still only stuffed the past "surprises" down to the bottom of the collection.

I am thrilled that you are happy though. I just am not. Probably partly because every direction I turn in PT now wants more money. There are no Missions for players without deep pockets. Now when Missions come out all the cards that we need are just released the same day and are trickled into the mix for the first weeks. Collecting cards means little because the Mission Cards are mostly not available until after the Missions, And then be sure to buy some of those great Spotlight Packs so you might get a couple of the low mission cards.
