11 week comparison...

I've got three teams, one PT+ and two regular F2P.

The chart below shows comparable results between the PT+ team (Baltimore) and the most successful of the other two (Akron). Other than a quicker start by the PT+ team, things have settled out by Week 11, and ironically, it looks like Akron will return to Diamond next week while Baltimore remains in Gold.

In terms of missions, PT+ (Baltimore) has given me a lot more mission completions, but those completions haven't resulted in enough card improvements to make the team much better than Akron (non PT+).

I guess what I'm concluding (at this point) is that PT+ gives us a "small" advantage, but questionably justified for $7 a month (I purchased 6 months). Granted, I've had some luck with the Akron team - and my 3rd team (F2P) is struggling to stay in Bronze - but I was expecting a bit more out of a $42 investment

Thoughts?

I figured that using PT+ would only get me to the point where my team stagnated more quickly and for me it is more enjoyable to walk the slightly longer path to that point. I decided to save the money.
I'm sure that a good number of players got their value from it, some feel it didn't make all that much difference and a few were disappointed. That's the way of things.

It doesn't matter how much time or money you spend if you are not playing the optimal strategies. For this reason, all of my teams are being slow-played, some slower than others. Winning now, is of no importance to me, but rather I am saving my points for the fire sale of great cards that always takes place later in the year and makes achieving diamond league a breeze.

Main team: Gold league in first place as of this moment. This is a surprise because the same team was relegated from gold three weeks ago. PT+, maximum quick spam, maximum twitch drop collection, NO missions complete. Open packs weekly, sell cards, logout. Invest in cards for re-sale at a later date hopefully for a profit.

Locomotives: Silver league, in danger of relegation. F2P, no quick spam, no twitch drop collection, 13 missions complete. Twice a day daily bronze is entered, Friday weekly bronze if I remember and the occasional bronze quick (no more than 1 entry per day). Open packs daily, sell most cards, save points except for buying live iron cards as cheaply as possible.

Bengals: Maximum slow play. F2P, all historical iron cards, currently in Stone league and in the playoff hunt this week. Log in once a day, collect pack(s), log out. Saving all packs and points for a big move at a later date.
