Trade log no longer automatically expands

One minor QoL annoyance I've noticed with this version of OOTP is when you're on the player page of a player that has been traded and you click the "Acquired: trade with TEAM on MM/DD/YYYY" to take you to the trade log, it no longer automatically expands the specific trade involving that player.

Is there a setting I'm missing? Is this something that could easily be patched?

Seconding this request. It worked without issue before and would be nice to have it fixed. Please..

To begin with, this page is too long to search for content.
It should be broken down by year or by season.
The same goes for GM's transaction history. It is difficult to look back on transactions from years ago.
To make matters worse, when I open a player's page and go back to the log/history, the scrolling resets.
It's a long scrolling journey all over again.

Sure, just needs a "year" filter like the draft history has now.

I always thought this never worked for me in any version but I could be misremembering lol. It seems to just expand/take me to a random unassociated trade.

agree that this should work better but the easier thing to do is just click "history" on the player page to quickly see the trade

Yes, for a quick look. Going to the trade log page though also includes more details. IE place in standings, level and stats of the players involved at that time, if they're in the top prospect list the numerical rating is there, etc.

It is a nice immersion thing when one keeps all transactions. Looking at a trade you made 10 years ago in detail is kind of cool.
