Modern Stats in Historical Leagues

Hey! So, I'm doing a massive, 48-team league beginning play in the mid-19th century. However, what I'd really like is to see the stats output to be that of the 21st century, specifically 2010-present, or thereabouts. I've tried using the "League Functions" specific year tools and no matter what I've done, players are only hitting 2-3 home runs a season and pitchers have odd stats, so on and so forth. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Wondering if anyone has accomplished this and knows what I could try.

I've never done it but others, seeing this bumped, can opine. THe gist of what you are trying to do is found in the Advanced Settings. Go there when setting up the league. You can import the league totals of any year (see screenshot) to create the baseline of your league. Further down on that screen is the ability to lock these in via a checkbox so they don't change. I think the league totals will adjust to the number of teams in the league. I think you also want auto-calc each year so the modifiers will align to keep trying to achieve the league total environment you selected and locked in.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I have done this - and it still does not seem to be working properly.

I'vd done this in each of the past five or so versions of OOTP. What I have found is that you need to hit recalc in the league totals screen on the day before the season starts. That will recalc to the seasson you've selected. In addition it will ensure your strategy preferences role forward.

there is a great thread about this somewhare, however I could not find it in this version's threads. So it will be a long hunt.
