Can you add a little color on 3D Pre-game?

The Options & Preview center line where the teams compare, the NYY logo with the black background gets lost. Something to fix next release? All you see is the KC logo.

Are you using a mod? The NY in my game is white.

Yes. I don't see any access to a white NYY logo, small, the ones I have seen are all blue. I do have this NYY logo.

Mine may have come along in an import as I keep my same game going from version to version? IDK.

I also play as the Cubs so only see the Yankees once per year and am not sure what logo they showed on the pre-game screen. It may have been the "bat in the hat" one you posted, or the white NY. I know it wasn't a black NY as I use the dark skin and I would have had the same thought you did ie "this needs to change".

Maybe go to team

settings>modify team logos colors textures>logos
and see what is there.

In my game the large one is the "bat in the hat" and the small is the white "NY". I would think your NY is going to be black. Change that out for white if you have it in your logo folder, or the "bat in the hat" and see if that fixes it.

Silvam's mod file has all logos for every year, so should be able to find one there. https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=338896 . If you are on Steam Silvam's file is in the workshop. Also there are many other modders that have logo files if you don't want historical uniforms too.
