Data File
I got a new iMac24 computer (OS14.41) and want to move my OOTP23 Game to the new machine.
I copied the Game and Data files to the new computer, but I wanted to keep the data folder in the "Documents" folder because I can access it with one click. I can't seem to figure out how to get the game to "recognize" the data folder in a new location... or how import my league and team files to the data folder the game creates when I start a new game. Can anyone suggest a solution? ![]() |

Macs are weird with permissions. I'm a PC guy but so many users have asked about the issue of permissions and Macs not reading things based on the various silos in the Mac system, they posted this for OOTP 25. Maybe some of it is relevant to your situation.
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=352873 Whatever you do, first thing is to go to File>Backup and create a backup (not an ordinary save) but a proper backup before trying to move or repoint stuff. Good luck.
