Draft history incorrectly displaying in historic mode w/ random debut

As the title says, I'm working through a random debut historic game. I wanted to show a friend what a prior draft had looked like and when I went to check, this is what showed up. Johnny Gaudreau, for example, is already retired in my game, yet it's showing him on the draft list.

I think that may be the waiver draft history getting mixed in there - if you check two guys listed in the same spot, does one of them have a waiver draft claim in his history for that season?
