Fangraph's style leaderboard?
OOTP allows to view historical records older than 2 years in a limited way, showing the top 5 for each stat, which is somewhat disappointing. It may be nice to have more detailed past season leaderboards, like fangraphs. Do you think there's any chance that OOTP make leaderboards like those in Fangraphs? It would be great to see that feature, even if it's partial. Last edited by tktkrtktkr; 07-01-2024 at 08:29 PM. |

Agree! The multi-year sims would be improved greatly with a new style career/historical data base.

I'm up for pretty much any improvements where it comes to accessing and displaying the mountains of statistics that are accumulated.

I have no idea how hard it would be to have something like this but I like it.

Bumping with my approval ... can't hurt to keep this at the top for devs to see.

Granted there are a few fields that don't match up, and the developers should address that.... but I have been using this report/view for a while... I sorted this on WAR... One of the things that is great about OOTP is you can slice it and dice it anyway you want... Plus you build it once and it works in all leagues and you can migrate from Version to Version... I have about 35 'Canned' reports I use, some for over a decade....
![]() But yes it would be nice to just click and have a fancy report ready to go... |

OK... yes the 1 year, 2 year or career under splits is very limited... IIRC there were 'asks' to expand that many versions ago... a 'to/from' year split would be awesome

it is insane that there is not rollup by X time frame.

The way I get around this for now in my solo leagues is using csv exports and using power pivot in Excel, but it's kind of annoying to setup and maintain b/c I have to build all the stats formulas from scratch. I will say tho, having the ability to do custom multi year stats has been a game changer. I've been able to easily identify prospects and veterans alike that consistently outperform their ratings.
