League Creation Options

So it's been a while since I last played and created my own league/world and was wondering what options are only available when you create a league upon game creation vs the options that are there once you've created your world? I'm almost 100% certain there were some things but I forget what.

I only ask as I spent ~8 hours yesterday trying to set up a save (again, first time in around a year playing) and had other obligations and had to quit out without saving my progress

I'm not sure I'm aware of any Settings that are only available at game creation. Even when running historical you now have the ability to adjust pretty much everything after a game has been created.

That being said, you can also save (and later re-load) your setup progress as a Template. There is no reason to quit a setup and lose anything.

If you are making a custom game, you do not need to set it all up when you are going through the wizard. Everything can be added or deleted once the game is created. that means Majors, Minors, and more. So, just get your league created and then change everything after like team cities and names.

It took me almost 2 weeks to setup one of my custom leagues with doing uniforms, logos, and so on. So yeah, set the game up and do it in parts when you have the time.

Yeah same here for the save I had going for 23, I'm doing a super customized fictional league/world so nearly everything needs to be adjusted before even worrying about the teams and all that. I just thought I remembered a few things being there only during league creation and maybe again in the off season. That's certainly what I remember doing last time

But thank you guys, I do appreciate it, and for anyone worried about my mental well-being losing 8 hours, don't worry, I saved all the things I needed to change in a spreadsheet!
