is there a way to tone down this metric, it seems a bit high!?

There's no specific setting that controls shots on goal, it's something I have to adjust via a variety of things in the game engine. Which league are you seeing this in, and in what mode (classic or 2d)?

Ummm, too bad...playing modern/current nhl league, and for the time being seeing in 2d mode....

OK, I'll have a look at it, I probably need to make some adjustments after the 2D engine changes.
