That's an interesting one and it would be hard to determine a true winner in this trade, but I'd maybe give a slight edge to Chicago because elite right handed dmen are very, very rare.

Offensively it has to be Coffey IMHO with his multiple 40+ GOALS season. Let alone points.

By the time Makar retires, he will probably be at the same level as Park, and above Chelios (Chelios was elite in his prime, but his longevity skews the overall evaluation of the player). Will probably fall short of Robinson, Lidstrom, Potvin and Coffey, but not by much. Unless something happens (like major injuries), Makar has all the tools to be top 10 all time. Might not make it, but he sure has the tools. |
