Regarding the Licensed WBC

Is the field of 24 teams Fixed or will it change overtime

If you start with it, you can start with the qualifiers this year. Whoever wins from those qualifiers will advance to the main tournament for next.

At the moment, the teams involved in the qualifiers and the main tournament are fixed. We may look at ways later on to rotate them more, however IRL there's a lot more random nation tournaments that are played to be able to rank Germany vs Brazil and so on for quality that the vast majority of people do not run in their leagues, so if we did swap out teams, it would just be random swaps for most users.

Yeah, there's tournaments like the Premier12, the various age-level world championships, there's a loooooot of them that go into the rankings through the World Baseball Softball Confederation.

Will we be able to have qualifiers in custom tournaments or is this something that can only be done for the WBC?

It's heavily geared to the WBC style setup at the moment. I'm sure we'll expand the system out to more styles over time though, as I know it's been a feature people have been wanting.

Will Japan be in this WBC?

Any update on is getting Nippon league will be back in OOTP?

I went back to my 23 (maybe 22 it is the last version I have before 25, always confused because the name of the game goes by versions and not year it is). version of the game so I play with Nippon league in the game. Crazy it is not (I know a licensing issue), just drives me crazy not in the game now.

So if I mess with the teams in the WBC or the Qualifiers I could break how the league works ?
