Historical L/R splits on career stats page

Am I correct in assuming that current-day pitcher and batter splits are only updated up and until 2023? The total 2024 stats for both batters and pitchers are correct, but there are no L/R splits to be found on the player pages.

Also, with the addition of historical L/R splits for pitchers, do these only go back as far as 1914? This seems to be the earliest point at which L/R splits for pitchers like Christy Matthewson show up.

I personally updated the batter splits and pitcher splits file through the 2024 season. It is possible they did not use my newest file yet.

For batters, we have the data since 1901 and for pitchers since 1914. The data for pitchers before 1914 is simply not available currently. If it becomes available, I will update the file.
