Anyone ever had success recovering a deleted save file?

I started a save during OOTP18 that I have carried every season and through OOTP25. I play each game in this save, and every season through 2035 in which the game was in when I last had it in OOTP25. Easily. over 3K games played including playoffs.

My mac is a bit older, so I've downloaded third party apps and other things to do maintenance from time to time. For the life of me, I know I wouldn't have deleted this file but I also have no recollection if something CleanMyMac thought it was a junk file or not and I blindlessly accepted.

Just hoping someone out there might have had success recovering a deleted file?
