Salary Arbitration doesn't factor into budget
My league runs a non-traditional schedule. As a result, several off-season events were adjusted. The game has advanced to a point that Salary Arbitration has populated for GMs. I have amended the Arbitration date to be more than 60+ game days away; however, when I advance the game, the arbitration-eligible players/options go away and are no longer editable.
Additionally, if I continue to advance to the start of the season, the arby-eligible players remain on their respective teams, but are playing at a $0 salary on the season. |

Did you accidentally delete the "Arbitration Hearings" league event? That's where it actually processes the arbitration offers.

The arbitration values will be processed when that even comes up. However as noted, that event does need to happen before the free agents file, as that rolls over contracts. And it definitely must happen before the league actually rolls over to the new year (the Preseason Start). So knowing what order the off-season events are scheduled in your game might shed some light on why things are not happening as expected.
