League Transactions not Uploading with Online League File

This was posted a few times in other threads but I figured it was easier to start its own topic. Our online league (PEBA) recently migrated to OOTP 24 from 23 and since the move, all league transactions reports are not being uploaded to our server when we sim. The transactions are showing up just fine for whoever runs the sim, but the "Complete Transactions Log" and "All Transactions Log" are not being updated for everyone else in the league that downloads the file. The downloads have been much quicker as it seems these files just aren't being included in the archive before upload. We've tried multiple computers, different simmers, etc but the issue persists. And it's affecting every league in our Game World.

I've uploaded our league DAT files to the support FTP site and labeled them "PEBA League DAT Files"

5/17 - After some digging around, the injury log as well is not being uploaded with the file.

Hopefully we can get some assistance with this, we will be rolling into our regular season soon and it would be nice to have resolution by then.

Do you have those reports selected to create and upload? I don't think we have done any major changes to the report upload system that would cause them to not upload, but you may have to go through and re-select which reports you want to make sure are uploaded in the archive.

Yes, in the League File Center we unchecked and rechecked everything to make sure we were covering everything.

The file creation appears to work, as the person running the sim sees everything and can upload the HTML reports to our website just fine which you can see here: https://pebabaseball.com/reports/new...tions_0_0.html

But those files are not being added to the archive for the league file upload for the rest of the GMs to download and see in-game.

I've included a zip file from our sim last night. This is the news > HTML > leagues folder that is in our file upload archive. I assumed this is where the missing reports are supposed to be, but as you can see, the only reports getting added to the archive are preseason predictions.

Hi there, following up again with this. Despite the recent patch being close to fixing the issue, this issue is still happening. After some troubleshooting, I found the following:

- The patch DID fix grabbing the correct folder in HTML > Leagues and some of the corresponding files there. But it's missing the files that are attached to the actual transaction reports.

So the game is grabbing these files when it creates the archive to upload:
"league_100_all_transactions_0_0"
"league_100_transactions_0_0"

But it's NOT grabbing:
"league_100_all_transactions_5_2038"
"league_100_transactions_5_2038"

Those bottom files are obviously for the specific month/year and are what's used for the Major and Complete transactions log. But they aren't being compiled into the upload folder for our online league so those reports never update for everyone other than whoever is running the sim.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Just giving this a bump - it's quite an annoying phenomena for online leagues.

SBL is still having this problem. Sucks it's still happening for some leagues. My other two leagues it has worked fine in but SBL still no luck. It really sucked for today's sim since it was the Rule V sim and so we can't see the full rule v draft results because of this. So if you want to see other teams results you have to go to their individual teams to see their team's transaction because the full league complete transactions doesn't work still and just shows the individual user's own team transactions.

I'm going to post the SBL league file link here too in hopes the developers will go look at it again and get it working again. Here is the file for the SBL league: https://statsplus.net/sbl/files/sbl.zip

Or at least give us some ideas to troubleshoot it ourselves. Because nothing setting wise changed between OOTP 23 and OOTP 24 in this league so this shouldn't be happening. Plus why is it happening in some leagues and not other league. Only different between SBL and my other two leagues (LOTP/SLOTP) is SBL first season was 2013, so OOTP 14, compared to LOTP which was 2020 (OOTP 21) and SLOTP was a 2022 offseason live start (OOTP 23).

We would greatly appreciate your guys help since not having this working really sucks and is affecting the league/game.

The other thing to check is that the raw versions of those files actually are there, as well. Is the html file in the local directory before upload? Most html files also have a raw text version, checking if those are there too can also help. Would also be useful to post the report set files list (should be in the import_export folder, should be something like reports_set_online_league_files.txt. That should help us see what is included or not and where the issues still arise.

In-game we are still only seeing the transactions that occurred prior to our migration - which was in-game 2/6/2038. We are currently at 8/23/2038. We have begun using the most current version upon it's release.

When I look at my back-up/test file (which I import to each sim as if I weren't commish), in the 'news>html>leagues' folder I do see all the individual month files for 2038 league transactions - so they are there, but for some reason they are not loading.

The 'reports_set_online_league_files.txt' file does show the individual month files, through 'league_100_all_transactions_8_2038.html' as we are in August. It shows a creation date of May 5, 2023 - when we migrated, and a modification date of yesterday - our most recent sim. I note that there is no .txt equivalent files for each month ('news>text>leagues'), aside from the 'league_100_all_transactions.txt' file which is current - running from the 1st day of the previous offseason (11/7/2037) to the current in-game date (8/23/2038).

It is worth noting that I am experiencing this in my other online league as well...

Okay, it looks like the files are coming through, but when you go to view in-game. we end up ignoring them. I think we should be able to correct that.

Another option you can consider is it most people view files in-game, you can convert all the files into the sqlite db. On the database tab, if you hit the edit button in the bottom right, that will move all the text files to the database, which is easier to move and download. You can still have the game generate and upload the html files to use in statsplus or other online setups.

We are still not seeing the recent transaction in-game on the transactions screen. We are in September in-game, but the latest transactions showing in-game are from our February migration date - so that's 7-months of no transactions; no FA, no roster moves, no scouting finds - no nothing - other than what that team specifically made - no league-wide actions.

And the same is happening in my other online league.

I'm confused why this would become a problem with the new version because one would think that this part of the 'coding' would not be part of any updates made to the 'features' of the game.

Bump -- my online league converted to OOTP24 (from 22) in November and it's been recently brought to my attention that we too are experiencing this issue.

I (Commish) am seeing all transactions in the log, but GM's are only seeing their team's.

What is making this harder to figure out is that if I grab the league file from the import_export folder and folder, move the zip into my saved games folder and unzip that folder, everything works in OOTP fine with the log. Something is at play.

While it works for me in-game, it's also of note that the the news -> txt -> leagues folder is completely empty. Whereas my real folder is full of items here.
