Players coming back from injuries in the post season

So in my fictional league there is a super star player on a computer team that was injured and is now 100% healthy and has been for a few in game days but the game won't let him play until the second round. I thought there was a setting that allowed players to come back as soon as they are injury free and I thought I had it selected but apparently not. I know you can just go into commissioner mode and change it but I thought like I said there was a setting somewhere. Normally I wouldn't care but this player was this teams best player who's team was a huge underdog against the top ranked team. The underdog team some how managed to be up 3-1 in the series just in time for this superstar player to get back into the lineup unfortunately he was not able to and said underdog team blew the 3-1 series lead losing in 7.

You can't make roster changes in the middle of a series in the playoffs unless you have a player on the active roster who gets injured.
