AI Awards
AI in 1871 Awarded a 3-1 1.50 ERA pitcher the POY when 2 players had 20 wins...
I have noticed this since OOPT2 or so. I do it manually with a formula of 6 hitting stats and 6 pitching stats. Leader screens for hitting and pitching show top 5. I give players 5 for 1, 4 for 2 and ect for those 6 stats and add up the 'votes': Voting AVG HR RBI OBP SLG OPS Meyerle 29.00 5.00 4.00 5.00 5.00 5.00 5.00 Barnes 13.00 3.00 4.00 2.00 4.00 Sutton 9.00 4.00 2.00 3.00 Voting ERA Wins IP WHIP Ks Spalding 20.00 3.00 3.50 5.00 5.00 3.50 Fisher 18.00 4.00 5.00 4.00 4.00 1.00 Pratt 13.00 1.00 3.50 3.00 2.00 3.50 I get my top 3 - give these out before going with "Off Season Begins" to each player but sadly, I can not add them to the league until after "Off Season Begins" - I wish I could add them before hitting that button. This is all about the Almanac and players... Can we get the AI to do something similar to what I do?

The AI uses modern pitching metrics to determine pitching awards which is incredibly inconsistent with historical leagues.
Sometimes I will just pick the Cy winner myself because 90% of the time the AI's pick will be goofy. |

Hopefully one day we'll be able to set the metrics for the awards
