Move back to Oakland

Hello!

How do I move the Athletics back to Oakland and Oakland Coliseum?
Have never touched ballparks and locations in OOTP. Entering the 2028 season and would like to move them back in OOTP26 and then we see exactly what's happening to the franchise in the coming seasons, in IRL.

When to relocate? First day of the offseason or on January 1? Does it matter? at the moment I'm at the first day of free agency.

It does matter. You'll want to do so in the offseason so first day of FA is fine. The idea is before the game makes the next year's schedule. Go to Manager's Office and turn on Commish mode. Go to Oakland's Team Settings on the team page. Make their city Oakland. And for the location of the city (which is different a further down) type Oakland in the city search and then below it the drop down will ask if you mean Oakland, MD, Oakland, CA etc. Choose Cali. Back to the team page. Edit ballpark. This is trickier as it may no longer ship with the game, if that is the case go to the 3D subforum of the mods page and get silvam14's stadiums and follow the instruction to put them in the proper folder. Then you'll want to follow the instructions on how to select the most recent Coliseum as the home park.

When you get stuck, come back. Lots of folks can help.
