Does anyone know why, when you start an expansion team, there are misc player expenses for the first 4 years under the team's settings?

IRL expansion teams have usually 3 or 4 years to establish their minor league systems before the major league club begins playing. If I had to guess that's probably supposed to be what that represents.

I was always under the impression it's to simulate the expansion fees, I could be wrong though.

I may be misremembering, but I thought it was stated in the past that the pre-existing financials were generated because there needed to be existing data there for some financial calculations to happen (projected budgets and such). Take with a couple grains of salt, I vaguely recall asking something similar one time.
