Pittsburgh Pirates: 2026 Season
The question is simple: Will the Pirates actually be a good ballclub, or will we continue to do absolutely nothing?
Well, if the offseason is any indicator, we may have a decent roster on our hands. Don't know if it'll be enough to make the playoffs, but I hope it will be. Here are the major changes heading into 2026: - Pirates trade Johan Oviedo and change for Jhostynxon Garcia and pitching prospect Jesus Travieso. - Reliever Gregory Soto heads to Pittsburgh for 7.75 million. - Pirates acquire Brandon Lowe as part of a three-team deal. Also acquired outfielder Jake Mangum and left-hander Mason Montgomery. - Ryan O'Hearn signs for the Pirates, 2 years and 29 million. - We traded for Marcell Ozuna - We offered Schwarber 100 million dollars I probably missed something major, but that's the bulk of our transactions heading into spring training. Nonetheless, let's do our best to enjoy another year of Pirates baseball. Last edited by JackOnAMacYT; 02-21-2026 at 07:20 AM. |
