Game sets roster size to 25 for lowest level minors

Instructions on the screen say do not set the number of players for the lowest level to lower than 35 but OOTP sets it to 25. If it is changed to follow the instructions OOTP resets it to 25 the following year.

I checked and this error is not present in 25.

New discovery. In a fictional save A and R have no limit. Short A has a limit of 30. AA and AAA have a limit of 28. MLB has a limit of 25.

Original post was about a save in Career Mode.

So you are playing with historical minor leagues.

The recommendation you mentioned is likely not relevant for that scenario since only real life players are being used. The game is likely importing the real life roster rules (or at least an approximation).

Are you seeing any issues as a result of it?

The behavior of the game changed from 25 to 26 while the instruction remained in the game. And it's an instruction, "do not", rather than a recommendation, so it is quite important. Due to this combination my concern is that the change is an error.

Yes, I have an issue. Because of the instruction every season I have to reset the roster limits of the minor league teams on the assumption the instruction is correct. Whenever I post about game problems I get the answer that it's pining for the fjords.

No worries, I generally try to take the opposite approach and the ignore list is a great solution in this case. Good luck.

A "not a problem" answer based on speculation isn't problem solving. I was thinking of this discussion when I posted elsewhere that again I'd encountered it's pining for the fjords. As with that discussion I am not willing to pursue my inquiry any further.
