Game corrupted

This happened to my 30 year old save and I was wondering if theres any way to recover it, i've tried everything I know to do and pressed restore but this is all that pops up 💔

Awesome. Thank you so much! That didn't work but I did some digging in the files and found an Incident folder with a dat folder inside of it, and copied and pasted them into my save and I got everything back, didn't even lose a day.

Thrilled you got it back! It's not always a happy ending.

Now, do your future self a favor and do a proper backup. It can via the backup function, or as you learned, copying the .dats from their folder and stashing them safely somewhere as a backstop against losing anything via a game crash, power outage or any other kind of digital misfortune.
