Help please

Everytime I open OOTP it telss me I have a invalid Player File and won't let me do anything

The league that you are using has been corrupted somehow and unless you have a backup then you need to start over.

yeah well now i deleted that league(although the player error has happend in many of my leagues) and now any time i try to do something on any of ootp it says there is a runtime error. I need this fixed quick cause I have an online league

Try reinstalling the game in a different directory and see if that helps.

I see how to uninstall it but not how to reinstall it. I'm sorry I probably sound like a complete dumbass

Just run the "ootp5setup.exe" file again.

I have the *exact* problem described by PatchMK88, but need a little more clarification. How do I uninstall the game exactly, and do I need to do anything with elicense to do this? I understand that I can reinstall by running "ootp5setup.exe", but here again, are there licensing issues I need to worry about the second time around?

Thanks in advance for your help and clarification.

To be on the safe side use the following link for instructions on "unlicensing" the game first:

Depending on your OS you may be able to uninstall the game via the control panel/add-remove programs option.

Hey, thanks for the fast reply.

I'm on xp.

As I'm sure is clear from my question, I claim to know nothing about computers, so this has to be as explicit as possible. So is this what you're saying I should do:

1) unlicense
2) *delete* the game using "add/remove programs"
3) reinstall the game
4) re-license
