history league

I feel like an idiot. I've run into another problem. I downloaded Comma-delimited text files from baseball1.com which is a database of every player from 1871 to 2002. And I'm trying to create a history league. But every time I put in the path to get to it, it says it's the wrong path or invalid. If it's not too much trouble I was wondering if I could get step by step instructions as to where to put the text files and how to put in the correct path because nothing seems to be working.

Help. This is my first post and first attempt at using OOTP5.

Problem: I downloaded TotalMinors database and followed directions in Read Me, however I start the game and I see "Invalid Player Files" and I can't play. HELP!!!

What I did: 1) download totalminors from www.rosterdevelopmentgroup.com; 2) unzipped to OOTP5 "Create" folder; 3) replaced all existing files. 4) Tried to play OOTP5 with no success.

What should I do???? I realize this is a rookie mistake and posting but nonetheless I'm begging for help.

Did you look INSIDE of the "create" folder to see if the folders are in fact inside of another folder inside the create folder?

thanks for the prompt reply.

just checked the "create" folder--there are no other folders in there except a "histories" folder. All else are DAT files (the largest being Players at like 46,000 kb).
