Error Calculating OBP?
Unless I'm mistaken, I don't believe it's possible to have an OBP lower than your BA. It will always either be identical to the BA or higher. I was looking over the numbers of some of my minor leaguers and noticed that one of my prospects as a BA of .289 and an OBP of .283! Is this even possible?

I suppose that would depend upon whether sacrifices count as plate appearances. If they do, then it's possible; if they don't, then I don't think it is.

Sacrifices do count as PA's. An MLB player once finished with AVG higher than OBP, but I don't recall who it was now.
