Strange ...
I'm doing a historical-fictional league set in 1901. I dumped the real players, created new ones, and created some minors, changing the names of the teams for more East Coast/Midwest cities and no west coast at all.
I start playing and when the first minor league game comes up I get an error that says "Anaheim has no pitchers on the active roster! (25)" Ok I'm puzzled. There is no Anaheim in any of the leagues (although it might've been originally generated and I changed it's name) and I visually inspected each team and all of them have pitchers assigned. Also all teams are being run by the AI so I figure the AI will work to fill any gaps they have in the roster, right? THis allows me to play on but I'd like to sim along quicker than one day at a time. Any ideas? |

Hmmmm, well I made the problem go away for me by deleting the roster limits I had placed on the AAA and AA leagues (both were set to 35 players max). I also noted that I had three free agents to be signed so I boosted those up too. I'm not sure if this is working as intended by I got around it.

Do you think you could recreate this issue? And if you can, could you get the league file posted somewhere that Markus could grab it and take a look at it?

I got something like this last night, althought it was 7 years into a league. I also had roster limits set for the minors (AAA and AA had 23, but more for lower leagues) and I got an "Anaheim has no pitchers!" thing.

It's stopped there--I was trying to let it sim overnight for a time, but it only did one extra year before getting that.
![]() I just need to know where to upload it. |

Okay--I just noticed. I do actually have an Anaheim team in the rookie league which doesn't have any pitchers. There's no reason for them not to have any pitchers though as there are plenty of players coming through the draft every year and free agents.
EDIT: There's a roster limit of 35 on my rookie leagues, but they're only carrying 19 players for some reason (all pos. players obviously). Since it's a rookie league, it's SS, but the league just had the draft. Weird. No other rookie league team has the problem that I've found so far. Last edited by Carplos; 03-24-2007 at 01:58 PM. |

Like Montoya said, look at the FTP thread stickied on top and send in the file.
