The historical schedule situation is a reported bug. Should be fixed pretty quickly. You can manually get the correct schedule in League Setup, as long as you do it during preseason.

Well, the way to get the correct schedule for an historical league, if you are in preseason, is to go to the Options page of League setup, on the right hand side there will be a place where it says Schedule loaded from file. You use that search box to find the ML schedule file that has the correct year. (I'm working off of memory here, so take that into account). It's the same thing that should be happening automatically, but isn't right now.
