total_modifiers.txt column Headings

The column headings are missing in the game, some I can figure out but a lot of them I cannot. Anyone have what they should be?

You can find this out for yourself but you need to start a new historical game and right after that, compare the modifiers that you see in the brand-new game with what is in the text file. The reason is, I believe, in subsequent years, factors are applied to these modifiers which alter them so that in future years you don't see an exact match from text file to game screen.

The reason for that I think is explained here, from the online manual:
Quote:
Automatically adjust league totals modifiers after each season for historical accuracy - When you select this check box, the game will automatically make an adjustment to your league totals after each season, so that the results of the next season will be statistically close to the real-world historical ratio of that season. So, if your league overall hit .250 in 1980, and the real world league batting average for 1981 was .275, the game will automatically adjust your Hits league totals modifier to 1.100, because you need to get hits 10% more often than this past season to approximately match the real world values.
I created a fresh game dated 1871 and I saw matches from the text file, reading left to right on the 1871 row, to the modifiers shown in this print screen and in the order shown by the arrows (with a few "unknowns" thrown in):

[EDIT: Actually there appears to be a flip-flop in positioning for "Balks" and "Passed Balls," for "Sac Flies" and "Sac Bunts," and for "Fielding Line Drive Double-Plays" and "Outfield Assists" when comparing the text file order to the game screen.]
