League Expanded - no more interleague?
I'm in 2029 and the game engine expanded my MLB by two teams, adding a team in the NL East and the AL Central.
In the past, I've used a downloaded file with a bunch of 30-team mlb schedules, choosing one randomly at the start of each season to ensure I played a different schedule each season. When I went to load a schedule for my newest season, i got an error message -- which makes perfect sense as i was loading a 30-team schedule file for what is now a 32-team league. So i went with the auto-generated schedule and noticed it didn't include anymore interleague play. Not the biggest deal in the world (tbh, in real life, i wish they'd do without it), but i'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, that once the game expands your league, interleague play goes away. |

You probably have league evolution turned on, and coincidentally your OOTP league ended interleague play for the same year you happened to expand. All sorts of things can change with your league it you turn on evolution.

It always generates a balanced schedule with no interleague. |

Okay. I mistakenly thought the OP was saying that OOTP had previously generated interleague schedules and then suddenly stopped. I never play with interleague play, so I didn't realize the auto-scheduler couldn't accommodate that. It seems like a core scheduling feature that should be added.
