Game slows to a crawl
I am experienceing some Sim issues in a fictional league and hope you can help. I have read on some other threads that some people have simm'd 50 or 60 years already.
I have simmed 10 years and in May of the 11th year(1911) and it slows to a crawl, about a day every 15 minutes. I have closed down, restarted and tried gain and the same thing. I have game logs and box scores set to NOT SAVE, I have the stat detail set to normal in my Major League and Low Detail in my minor leagues. I want to sim about 50 years to created a statistical base for the league. I know it isn't my machine, because it is about 3 weeks old, a Dell Inspiron with an Intel Core Duo/1 GB RAM/100 GB 7200RPM HD, etc. I know there have been thread talking about the 99% CPU, but I don't have that problem, it just seems the game slows to a crawl.... Thanks!!! |

Mack,
Do you have an anti-virus program running? I was having the same problems as you until I disabled my anti-virus program. Makes a HUGE difference. |

Memory leaks are being addressed in the 1.02 patch, and this will be moved to TS main section for review.

I'm sorry for the awfully slow response to this thread.
![]() Obviously, some time has passed since you posted this issue, and the 1.0.2 patch has since been released as well. I believe this issue was resolved, or significantly improved in 1.0.2, and further tweaks will be coming in the next patch. For now, I'm moving this to the Claimed Fixed forum. Thanks, Steve |
