Possible Pinch Hit / Relieve Bug?

I've noticed everytime I play a game and the CPU is down they will pinch hit like no other in the 8th and 9th inning. Which is fine but when they pinch hit for Barry Bonds and Bobby Bonila when they are down 1 run caught my eye. Furtheremore, they are pinch hitting with lesser talented players.

My example that happened to me.

9th inning 4-3; 0 outs; Pitt pinch hits for Bobby Bonila with lesser rated tom prince.

9th inning 4-3; 1 out; Pitt on their enxt batter pinch hits for Barry Bonds with Steve Buchele, another far lesser rated batter.

I've also noticed in my game logs that this was happening for my team too when trailing in the 9th and picked up on my MR and CL pitching 1/3rd of an inning more often than not.

I adjusted the setting of MR from very often to often and still have the saem results.

Anyone else expericing this situation? Any way to correct this?
