Minor League Scouts?

I posted this over in General Discussions but maybe it belongs here. When I choose the Scouting option on any page, all I am getting is the ability to choose from SISA, my head scout, or the 5 major league scouts. I never see my minor league scouts listed. On page 264 of the Game Guide, a screen is shown that lists the major league team's head scouts and 5 other scouts, and lists at the bottom an additional 5 minor league scouts. These minor league scouts are not showing up for me to choose from.

Am I doing something wrong here?

im not looking at the manual page you listed, but if you go to your minor league team >>> personnel tab, you will see the minor league scout for that team.

you cant assign them anywhere.

I have seen them on the staffs of my minor league teams. And, I guess you're right that they can't be assigned. But, I'm confused as to why the Game Guide shows them as 'assignable' on the page I referenced.

yea, i dont see them in-game like that page either (unless im missing something too).

Yeah - I had the same question. Maybe if you're a minor league manager, you can assign the minor league scouts to do something. But as a GM/manager, it seems the only thing they're good for is quick-scouting your minors on a monthly basis.

That may be the answer. Maybe I'll repost this as a Game Guide question.
