Too many transactions!

I am just posting away here since the call came out for us to be specific about our AI issues.

I can't read any team or league transaction report. Why? Because there are about 50 transactions per day!

San Francisco team report. Look at how many guys are being signed, released on the same day. Promoted and demoted on the same day. This is just one team. There are about 500 examples of guys being signed, cut the next day, signed by another team, only to be cut in a few days again.

The AI just appears to be recycling super crappy players from team to team. And they will sometimes even promote and demote a guy on the same day.

I hope you don't mind bu I was looking through the transaction reports of your league and noticed this player who illustrates a similar but different problem: http://www.unitedbaseball.org/ootp20...ayer_6747.html
I thought his transactions looked a little strange being that they were not in chronical order:
<TABLE class=lpo style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 12px" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=911><TBODY><TR><TD class=slg width=80>05-01-2017</TD><TD class=slg width=831>Released by the Pittsburgh organization.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=sl width=80>05-13-2017</TD><TD class=sl width=831>Signed a 1-year minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves organization.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=slg width=80>06-06-2017</TD><TD class=slg width=831>Released by the Atlanta organization.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=sl width=80>05-16-2017</TD><TD class=sl width=831>Signed a 1-year minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves organization.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=slg width=80>06-01-2017</TD><TD class=slg width=831>Released by the Atlanta organization.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Looking at the team transaction report here:http://www.unitedbaseball.org/ootp20...tions_0_0.html
It seems that the 5-13 and 6-6 transactions never happened. Again sorry if I am poking my head in where it isn't wanted but it seems that at the very least the reports are reporting wrong and I thought I should point it out to be looked at.

In addition to too many transactions, the evaluation AI must be off a little. From the Cleveland transaction page...

Robert Gum was waived to make room for Mickey Hall (All-Star)...who was traded to MON for an ok MR. Then Cleveland traded Bill Simonton (OF) to the Expos (again) for another crappy MR. Simonton, coming off a nice .290/21/76 season goes to AAA for 50 games.

In the span of 2-3 weeks, Cleveland lost their entire starting OF, got 2 ok relievers and Montreal got a few All-Stars, one of which went to AAA.

But hey, Atlanta did the same thing, losing near-stud IF Matt Moses to the waiver wire for no reason.

Poor Ronny Paulino (not very good) has been claimed off waivers 3 times before the All-Star break. He is one of about 50 players who has been claimed about 3 times off the wire.

Lance Niekro is only one of about 100 that have been claimed twice.

Yeah, thanks. I didn't notice that until I was looking at the waiver claims. I wonder if this is related to the crash while I was generating reports...who knows.

Either way, there are way too many transactions. I am seeing guys get waived like 3-4 times before the break, guys getting signed, cut, signed, cut. It seems like the AI likes to recycle really bad guys.

It has been asked that a mark of Cain be added to players that are released.

The player should hate the team, and the team should find the player unfit for future service.

It happens in 6.5, don't know why it was taken away. But really, the problem is teams just seem to sign really really crappy guys (I'm talking like 2/2/1 and stuff like that) and then cut them in a week. Repeat with team B, C, etc. Recycling of the crap.

The issue with the massive number of transactions is claimed fixed in patch 2, an beta testers have reported it is much improved, so I am going to move this over to the Claimed Fixed forum.

Thanks very much!
