AI not following set lineup bug?

I can't figure out what the problem is but OOTP2006 is not following the lineups that I have made out. I am playing as the GM/Commissioner and on the Manager homepage under the team control settings I have myself listed as the one who determines lineups. I have set the lineups on the team's lineup page but yet when I go to manage my team or sim a few days it is never that lineup. Not the correct lineup versus righty + DH or lefty + DH. I don't know if I have missed something but I can't seem to find it. Any help appreciated.
