Importance of regualr season ending date
When you setup your league one of the things is to setup the schedule. The game calculates the season end date from this. What I would like to know is what significance this date has on the game? Is it just used for scheduling the playoffs and the off-season activities?
The reason I ask this is because this date may conflict with historical schedules. A 10 team league using 3 game series an All-star game and 162 games will end on 9/22. This is the date that is reported in the off-season activities. Schedules nearly always went upto if not into October. |

![]() My understanding is that your assumption is correct - the season ending date is only important for determining the playoffs and off-season schedule. That date is driven by your schedule, and not the other way around. If you are using one of the XML schedules that come with the game, I don't believe there should be an issue. Anyway, let me know if you have further questions about this. Thanks, Steve |

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
