Player Photos - Wasted Space (bug?)
As best as I can tell, I have to put my player photos in two separate places for them to work in the game:
1) data/photos - this gets picked up in the player profile pages, but not in the html (SION) pages; and 2) [league].lg/news/html/images - this gets picked up in the html (SION) pages. If I am wrong about this, can someone please post how I should do it. If I am right, then it seems to me to be an unnecessary duplication that could be fixed up. Ideally, I would like to have the html (SION) pages pick up photos from the data/photos folder where I have a complete Wrightwings set and then no matter what league I am playing, those photos get picked up. |

I'm seeing the photos placed in the [league].lg/news/html/images folder shown in both player profile pages AND in SION html pages.
Honestly, I don't know of any distinctive use for the data/photos folder as of yet.

Ok - that may be right as I always had photos in my data/photos folder.
Still seems inefficient to me as it means quickstarts and leagues for download are unnecessarily large (eg extra 50MB for photos). |

You should not need the photos in /data/photos. That folder is only used if you want to use the same photos in every league. Then it will automatically copy down those photos whenever you create a new league.
In fact, unless you are doing this, I recommend deleting the folders from /data/photos. (Sorry for the slow response.) |
