Downloading a historical player problems

Could I get a bit of help, please.

When I download a historical player from the Lahman Database, and the popup says that he is was downloaded successfully and is now a free agent, he does not appear on my free agent listing.

Have you tried typing his name in the fast find box to see if he shows up there?
