Drafts disappearing

I wrote earlier about losing the amateur draft. Thanks to help from this board, I have managed to work around the issue.

I was so wrapped up in the amateur draft issue that I failed to notice the lack of a Rule 5 draft. As best as I can tell, I had a Rule 5 draft my first season, but none since (I just missed my 3rd Rule 5 draft). If anyone has had this issue and figured out how to deal with it, I would appreciate your guidance.

A correction in the next (final?) patch is also greatly appreciated.

Do you have the secondary rosters enabled? Is it set to 40? How about the waivers and the Rule 5 draft, are they enabled? Can you get all those settings and post them here?

Secondary rosters are set to 40.

3-day waiver period is set and Rule 5 draft is on.

I made no changes to game setup after I created the league. It worked fine the first season, but has not worked correctly since.

It does not appear this issue was resolved in the last patch. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? Not having a Rule 5 draft is having a substantial effect on roster decisions.

Bosscat, I'm very sorry it has taken us so long to respond.

I suspect, based on what you have mentioned, that this league was created in an earlier patch version. Unfortunately, I suspect that leagues created before the code was fixed may be unable to correctly generate the Rule 5 Draft.

However, I'm not 100% certain. Obviously, a lot of time has passed since you posted. What's the latest?

However, as I mentioned earlier, I suspect that something is now corrupted in your league, and probably won't be repairable.
