How to get non-human teams to upload?

Is there a way to get computer run teams to upload at once, or automatically, instead of having to do it team by team, on an FTP online league?

Seems like there MUST be a way to do this

lawyer, I posted a response in your other thread too, but you have me confused.

Are you the commissioner of an online league? If so, you shouldn't need to do anything like what you're describing...

Can you tell me precisely what you're trying to accomplish, and what steps you are currently using?

Thanks!

just 2 of us

Just a friend and I, we want to run 2 teams. So, we both have commissioner access, we are both managers, so the computer should run all the other teams. However, to get the file on the FTP server to run a "day", we have to go through team by team and click "export"......all of the copmputer teams need to be exported manually....there must be an easier way

Yeah, this isn't necessary. With two people, really, only one person should be the commissioner. One of you has to have the "master copy" of the game.

So, if you're the commish, you make your changes directly in the game.

He makes his changes in his "copy" of the game, and then exports to ftp.

You then import JUST HIS TEAM and run the auto-play.

The cycle repeats like this:

1. Commish puts out file for GM#2
2. GM#2 downloads file
3. GM#2 makes his changes, exports
4. Commish imports GM#2 file, makes his own changes, and runs auto-play
5. Repeat

It might help to run through the documentation in the manual on online leagues. I think it goes through some of this in some more detail.

But, the short answer is "You're right, there is an easier way."

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.

Thanks very much!
