This is not good. Installed game, installed license, game gets to load up screen and then crashes. Tried this three times now.

I wasn't trying to be rude and apologize if it came off that way. The reason to post over there is because issues will get looked at faster. There is so much going on in General Discussion that posts like this get pushed off the front page very quickly.

No need to pout. They're only trying to make sure it doesn't get buried by all the "I got the game" posts that will fill this page hourly for the nest couple days.

Error screen returned.
"OOTP2007.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."
Checked that DEP is set to "turn on DEP for essential sevices only"
Reproduced 6/7 times

Try to update your video card drivers, that will probably fix this problem.

Try this also to make sure DEP is on:

1. Right-click on "My Computer"
2. Select "Properties"
3. Click on the "Advanced" Tab.
4. Click on the Performance "Settings" Button
5. Click on the "Data Execution Prevention" Tab
6. Select the "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"

Try running the application again and see if you get an error.

I was getting this error too because of video card issues with facegen. Updating my drivers took care of it. You can disable facegen in the config file if this problem continues.
