Open Reports in External Browser - sorting not retained

If I create a report and sort by position, and then open that report in the external browser, the sort order is not retained. This renders reviewing the report rather more of an effort than it should be.

I put this in Test Track (where we log bugs) as a feature request. TT#2995

I am not certain if the developers can do what you want as such this is labeled a feature request and not a bug for now.

I am sorry, but we cannot do that. But the browsers can! There are add-ins for Firefox and other browsers to support table sorting. Actually, these add-ins have been what inspired Steve when he suggested to add this feature to OOTP. Unfortunately, these add-ins will probably not work perfectly with the OOTP reports, but they will help.
