Game stops responding when loading league
I just created a 28-team fictional league, simmed about 5 seasons and quit. Now everytime I try to reload the league, it stops on "93% Loading Faces" and doesn't respond. At first I thought it might just take a while for all the faces to load, but I have a pretty top-notch PC and I've waited for over 20 minutes. Is there a workaround for this? I'd rather not lose the history, faces, logos, etc...Thanks.

I'll admit that I have Firefox running as well, but it's never been a problem before. The CPU usage goes waaaaay up to 99% when trying to load. I have a feeling it's something to do with the game rather than anything else.

Just for troubleshooting purposes, have you tried turning off Facegen to see if you can get the league to reload?

FaceGen works fine for me, but yes, I tried running it without FaceGen enabled as well..no luck.

ms2002,
Can you zip up your league and post it to our FTP site? There are instructions in the FAQ forum on how to do that. Let's just start with the .dat files only. |

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."
If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched. Thanks very much! Steve |
