Anyway to speed up sim

don't record any box scores or game logs for one. Don't do a massive league. Buy a better PC/more memory.

What is wrong with your speed? How slow are we talking about? I think most people feel this is the fastest simming version of OOTP ever so something must be up with your league setup or PC.

This is new computer amd athlon 64 processor 3500+ 960 mb ram 200 gb of free space....it takes about 30 seconds a day which is much slower than the old version.....i have all of the logs and box score not saving already

How many leagues do you have running? How often is the game saving your progress?

What do you have running at the same time as OOTP? Just about everyone's first comment about the game is how much faster it is, so this is a bizarre one.

Yes, please give us more details about this specific league. Is it historical? Fictional? Imported from 2006? Imported from 6.5?

If you go to database info (from Game Menu), how many leagues, teams, and players are there?

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.
