Change font

Is there any way to change the font on the lineup/linescore screen? Some of my team names are running off the linescore.

In 2006 there was a config folder. I don't see one in 2007.

Update...I found the folder, but I can't change the font.

There must be a way to change the font. In some of the screen shots prior to release, I saw the old fonts. If I could at least make the font regular instead of bold, that would work.

They dropped the old style fonts right before release. The reason had something to do with having to use freetype format fonts which the scoreboard font does not support. Right now all we have are vera and verabd. The verabd font is used for the score board and while you can change it, it is also used in other places including the main menu.

The issue has been brought up in the beta forums, but I doubt it is a very high priority item at this time.

I was wondering how to change it, but I think I have founf out. I'm just waiting for facegen to finish updating my league and I will test the font thingy.

Here are the steps to change this font:

1. Find this folder: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\skins\ootp blue 2007\style_sets\game_screen

2. Open these two files:
yellow_digit_big.ss
bright_yellow_digit_big.ss

3. Change the font_x and font_y sizes to 16, like this:

font_x_sz
16
font_y_sz
16

4. Save and close.

5. Delete skin.bin

6. Restart OOTP
