Error and eLicense problem

All:

I downloaded and installed the game, purchased me eLicense and launched the game. I reach the title screen where the game begins to load, however, I get an error message and have to close the game before it does.

I thought maybe I could unlicense and re-install, but when I click on my eLicense tab in control panel, nothing happens.

I am running the game on Windows XP. All previous versions of the game worked great on this machine. Any ideas?

I am thinking this is a facegen issue. Can you disable it and try again?

And try the section entitled "OOTPB Won't Start at All, or Error when starting game: "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005). Click on ok to terminate application."

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.
