Error and eLicense problem
All:
I downloaded and installed the game, purchased me eLicense and launched the game. I reach the title screen where the game begins to load, however, I get an error message and have to close the game before it does. I thought maybe I could unlicense and re-install, but when I click on my eLicense tab in control panel, nothing happens. I am running the game on Windows XP. All previous versions of the game worked great on this machine. Any ideas? Thanks. |

I am thinking this is a facegen issue. Can you disable it and try again?

Personally, I would go here:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=141264 And try the section entitled "OOTPB Won't Start at All, or Error when starting game: "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005). Click on ok to terminate application." |

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."
