Unautorized lineup changes

I am playing as the General Manager, not in commish mode. I have the lineups changes to be handles by me. I got the pay game screen hit manage game and the lineups that I set are changed my the AI. I liked the way 2006 was that unless I tell the game to make changes to the lineup no changes would be made. I want to control the fatigue factor and make the changes myself. The AI is making changes based on fatigue. It is taking the fun out of tweaking the lineup. Can this be changed

Check your depth chart settings. There are different options available there.

1) Starts every 3 days (could be any number)
2) Starts when starter is tired
3) Never Starts

Sounds like you may want to change yours to never starts

I've had the same problem. Unfortunately selecting "Never Starts" doesn't solve the problem. The computer will completely disregard that and still insert the backup into the lineup, even when the regular doesn't need a rest.

The only way I've found to combat these lineup changes is to clear my depth charts.

That is a bug. (Will be fixed in the first patch)

For now, enable commish mode (manager options screen), then go to your teams ballpark & options screen and check the box that says 'prevent AI roster moves'.

I play in commish mode and have AI roster moves turned off, and I still have this problem. As long as you've got your depth charts filled out, the computer will make lineup changes in the pre-game screen.

Moving to claimed fixed, as Markus has already fixed this one for the first patch.
