Hard Drive Access
I did a quick search and didn't see this anywhere; I apologize if this old.
I recently noticed that my hard drive was being accessed a lot so I downloaded process monitor. According to this program, OOTP is accessing my hard drive every 30 seconds or so even when I am not playing the game. Is there any reason that this should be happening? |

Try turning off auto file scan in your AV. Not sure if this is the whole problem but worth a try.

Right click on the OOTP data folder and REMOVE the check mark INDEX folders.. also, if you are using Google Desktop, or other type programs.. have them exclude that area of the hard drive... unless you want to include them in the searches
