FaceGen Crashing
Periodically the game crashes when either updating a player's photo or when I Change picture. This will happen no matter what player or team I try to edit, and will also happen during a game if a "face Gen" guy comes up to pinch hit.
I temporarily solve the problem by defragmenting the drive, but only a week may go by before the crashing starts up again. Is there another fix for this besides defragmenting the drive every other night? I really dont want to turn facegen off. |

How much hard drive space do you have, both in total and free?
Have you checked your hard drive for errors? (Should be an option near the defragmenter) |

I have 50 GB of total Harddrive space on my computer, with 32 GB being used.
As I mentoned above, I do the ScanDisc and defragment that checks for and corrects errors - which usually solves the problem for about a week or so. Did have an issue yesterday where a specific player (Andrew Goacher) would prompt the FaceGen to update a photo - then freeze up and crash. This would happen in the game if he happened to pinch hit, or if I went to his profile screen on his team's roster. I played around with things for awhile and went to another team and created a picture for one of their minor leagers successfully - Then went back to Andrew Goacher and it worked fine.....very strange. |

Essekks, I know that they did some work with FaceGen in the final patch. Could you try installing it and letting us know if that solves your issue? Thanks.

As this thread has gone more than two weeks without a reply, it will now be closed for housekeeping reasons so that Tech Support volunteers can more promptly find and address active issues. If you need any further assistance with this issue, all you have to do is post a link to this thread in Tech Support and we can pick up right where we left off. Thanks.
