Freezing glitch

I have been playing a historical league starting in 1901 and have had no problems up until june 15 1969. I have completed the draft but when I try to sim the game freezes and I get the following message(s).

Open_data_file_savely – could not open file ‘teams/team_33_news.txt

TXT_FILE_CACHE::flusch_txt_file_cache – could not open target file for writing: team_33_news.text

.....each time I close the program and try it again I get similar messages but the team number changes...sometimes it says team_105 , sometimes team_47 ....but always the same error. Any idea how to fix this or am I just screwed? I'm using the http://baseball1.com/statistics/lahman54_csv.zip database. I tried re-downloading it again. Doesnt change anything.

Please locate the league folder in My Documents\...\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games. Then start a search for the file
team_33_news.txt
in this folder. Does it exist? Is it write-protected (try to rename it)? Can you send me the file please?
